director’s notes
When, some time ago, I read an article by geologist Giovanni Balestri foretelling, facts at hand, the end of life in my homeland in 2064, I immediately felt the need to tell about this phenomenon through the seventh art. A film cannot certainly claim to act as a solution for the social catastrophe that the phenomenon is producing, but I think that the cinema, as always it does, can surely give a valuable contribution to the consciousness campaign that is currently taking place.
